Composition of the Court
By Section 265(2) of the 1999 Constitution, the Customary Court of Appeal consists of a President and such number of Judges as may be prescribed by an Act of the National Assembly. Presently, the Court is led by the President and four (4) Hon. Judges.
Appointment of Judges
Judges of the Customary Court of Appeal are appointed in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and relevant laws, ensuring competence, integrity, and experience in customary law matters.
